Beliefs

We believe

The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

He is the Almighty Creator who made heaven and earth, all that is seen and unseen, and God created mankind in his own image. God has revealed Himself in three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is God’s true, living, and eternal Word to people.

Through it, God reveals Himself and His truth. The Bible is inspired by God, written by people led by the Holy Spirit, and is the perfect foundation and only authority for the teaching of the Church.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is fully eternal, uncreated God, and at the same time fully man.
As God, He took on human flesh and became the sacrifice that reconciles people with God, dying for the sins of all humanity.
On the third day He rose again, ascended to heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father as the only Mediator between God and people.

Only through faith in Jesus Christ can a person be reconciled with God, receive forgiveness of sins, and have eternal life with Him.

The Covenant is an agreement. God chose to have a covenant relationship with people. We enter this Covenant through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, through repentance, and by declaring our faith in water baptism.

Going into the water does not wash away sins. It is a symbol of the death of the sinful nature and the rising of a new life.

This act is done in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, just as Christ commanded. The foundation of this Covenant is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which the Church remembers in Communion — where the cup is a symbol of His blood, and the bread is a symbol of His body.

The Church is the gathering of people saved by God. It is not just an organization but a spiritual body, the body of Jesus Christ, with Him as the Head. The Church is the result of Christ’s finished work of salvation. It was founded by Him and began on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles. The Church is not spiritual Israel or its continuation, but the saved people from every nation.

The Second Coming of Christ. The Church lives by faith and hope that Jesus Christ, who lives forever, will come again to the earth just as He ascended into heaven — to judge the living and the dead.

Before His return, the church will be caught up to meet Christ in the air, and we will live with Him forever.

Holy living means a life dedicated to God and separated from the sin of the world. At the moment of repentance, a person becomes fully righteous, holy, and clean through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The holiness we receive as a gift becomes the foundation for the process of sanctification throughout our life. A holy person is sanctified to be transformed into the character of Christ in everyday life.

Someone who calls themselves holy but does not live a holy life cannot be like Christ — and in the end, cannot be with Him.

Our Relationship to the World

By “the world,” the church does not mean life on this earth, but the sinful system and principles ruled by sin and evil. While the church lives in this world, it is separated from it by the principles of God’s Kingdom, which are based on the Bible.

Being separate from the world does not mean closing ourselves off from it. The mission of the church is to go into the world to save people and lead them to Christ.
